On December 3, 2024, Dr. Lu Zhilei, Director of the Chinese Culture and International Education Exchange Center of South Africa, visited Shanghai Donghai College to conduct an on-site inspection of the college’s educational facilities, teaching environment, and talent cultivation systems. President He Ying warmly welcomed Dr. Lu and engaged in an in-depth discussion on enhancing international cooperation and exchanges between the two parties.
During the visit, Dr. Lu Zhilei toured several educational, teaching, and practical training facilities, including the e-commerce live broadcast studio and logistics training room at the School of Economics and Management, the A320 dynamic simulator training room, cabin door training room, static simulation room, and airport arrival/departure training room at the School of Aviation, the CNC, electromechanical, and industrial robot training rooms, as well as the automobile manufacturing workshop at the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the simulation elderly care training room, infant bathing simulation room, and immersive smart teaching center at the School of Nursing, independent piano rooms, electric piano rooms, dance rooms, and Montessori training rooms at the School of Education, fashion design training room at the School of Art, and the Jingcheng Jiayu Metaverse industry training base and studio at the School of Communication, Deans Zuo Tiantian of the School of Communication, Zhang Meiqin of the School of Nursing, along with relevant leaders and professional faculty members, provided detailed introductions to Dr. Lu. Dr. Lu highly praised Shanghai Donghai College for its advanced teaching and training facilities and excellent educational environment.
