School of Nursing adheres to the cultivation of nursing specialized technical talents with comprehensive competencies in five areas: moral, academic, technical, artistic, and benevolent skills. It implements flexible pathways such as “1+X” certification integration and international cooperation with foreign institutions. Currently, the school has 2 basic medical laboratories, 1 health assessment training room, and 24 nursing training rooms. The experimental equipment is regularly updated and incorporates elements of smart technology to facilitate training in basic and specialized nursing skills for all students. The school has high-level and stable off-campus internship bases, collaborates with most tertiary hospitals in Shanghai for teaching and research cooperation, and has formed a wide-ranging School-Hospital Collaborative Education Team. In 2023, it became a research and education practice base for postgraduate students of Shanghai University of Medicine & Health Sciences. Every year, an increasing number of students are winning awards in municipal and higher-level skill competitions. The comprehensive development level of nursing graduates ranks among the top in similar institutions, with both the employment rate and the rate of graduates working in their field of study exceeding 98%.
