On March 29, Dr. Jinming Chen, President of UUNZ Institute of Business New Zealand, and Dr. Jeffrey Stangl, Associate Dean International and Executive Education Massey Business school of Massey University, paid a visit to Shanghai Donghai College. President He Ying met with the New Zealand guests and hosted a seminar, Meng Zhaoshang, Director of International Exchange Office and Li Qing, Project Director attended the meeting.
President He Ying expressed gratitude for the distinguished guests’ visit and provided an overview of Shanghai Donghai College, including its institutional development, educational philosophy, internationalization strategy, and achievements. She proposed to deepen collaboration under the intercollegiate Memorandum of Understanding by jointly developing a tailored teaching curriculum system and customized talent development programs, ultimately cultivating interdisciplinary professionals with both technical excellence and global competency.
Dr. Jeffrey Stangl introduced in detail the cooperation and exchanges between Massey University and dozens of universities in China at different levels and the results of the projects, saying that Massey University pays great attention to the combination of theory and practice, and maintains close cooperation with major industry organizations around the globe to provide students with rich practical opportunities and overseas exchange and cross-cultural learning platforms. Dr. Chen Jinming, President of UUNZ Institute of Business, introduced its educational distinctiveness and developmental trajectory. The three parties had an in-depth discussion on the future direction of cooperation.
Following the meeting, the New Zealand guests, accompanied by President Ying He, visited the A320 Dynamic Flight Simulator Training Base at the School of Aviation. Dr. Jeffrey Stangl praised Shanghai Donghai College for “the innovative practice of integrating industry standards into the teaching and learning process in depth”, while President Chen Jinming also spoke highly of the quality of talent cultivation.
