In April 2025, the unveiling ceremony for the “Korean Language Education Center at Shanghai Donghai College” and the “Chinese Language Education Center at Korea Kyungnam University” was held simultaneously at Kyungnam University. The establishment of these two language centers aims to leverage the professional strengths of both institutions, integrate bilateral excellent resources, and enhance the teaching of Chinese and Korean languages through the mutual creation of language education centers. This initiative is designed to help both faculty and students better master the language of the partner country, systematically study traditional Chinese and Korean cultures, and deepen mutual understanding and trust. Ultimately, the goal is to cultivate well-rounded talents with international perspectives and cross-cultural communication competencies.
