To accelerate the internationalization of the college and foster integrated development of Sino-German vocational education, while enhancing the German language education and learning levels of both teachers and students, and expanding access to German proficiency examinations for the college and society, the Shanghai Donghai College DSZ German Language Teaching Center (Deutsch Gemeisames Sprachkompetenz Zentrum Shanghai) is recently inaugurated. The center is a collaborative initiative between Shanghai Donghai College, Fachhochschule Dresden, and the BSI private Sprachenschule GmbH in Germany. Its aim is to effectively improve the ability of Shanghai Donghai College’s faculty, students, and the broader community to systematically learn and master the German language in a standardized manner. Additionally, the center provides essential language training and certification support for individuals aspiring to pursue further academic degrees or secure employment opportunities in Germany, including current students, graduates, and external professionals.
