On May 15, Shanghai Donghai College inaugurated Special Exhibition on Overseas Collaborative Exchange Programs for 2025-2026. The opening ceremony was attended by over 50 guests, including Li Weiping, Secretary-General of the International Education Association Shanghai; He Ying, President of Shanghai Donghai College; Wang Yu, Deputy Party Secretary; Yu Ping, Vice President; Yan Yukang, Vice President; deans of various schools; heads of relevant departments; and faculty and student representatives. The event was hosted by Meng Zhaoshang, Director of International Exchange Office.
In her speech, President He Ying expressed gratitude to Li Weiping for his attendance and provided a detailed overview of Shanghai Donghai College’s efforts in advancing international exchange and cooperation, broadening students’ global perspectives, and fostering cross-cultural engagement. She emphasized that the exhibition aims to help students and parents gain a comprehensive understanding of the college’s overseas partners and exchange programs, encouraging active participation in overseas learning, academic advancement, and successful employment.
Secretary-General Li Weiping, speaking on behalf of the International Education Association Shanghai, congratulated the college on the exhibition’s launch. He reaffirmed the association’s commitment to leveraging its platform and resources to support Shanghai Donghai College in deepening international collaborations and providing full service support for faculty and students engaged in international exchanges and sustainable overseas initiatives.
Following the speeches, Li Weiping and the college’s leadership jointly unveiled the exhibition. Attendees, including guests, faculty, and students, gathered for a group photo before touring the exhibition booths for further discussions.
As of January 2025, Shanghai Donghai College has established partnerships with over 50 overseas institutions across nearly 20 countries (regions) spanning five continents. This exhibition features 30 participating overseas universities and will remain open until July 15. During this period, these institutions will introduce their study-abroad programs through various online and offline platforms. Students and parents are invited to explore the exhibition and attend seminars to identify ideal destinations and institutions for overseas study, research, and career development tailored to their aspirations.
