On September 1, 2025, a study group of 29 outstanding students from Shanghai Donghai College (SDC), who were fully funded by the college, departed for Singapore for an overseas study program.
During the program, students visited advanced training bases and innovation centers at Singapore’s Institute of Technical Education (ITE) to learn about Singapore’s vocational education model, which focuses on practical skills and industry needs. They also toured two top universities: the National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University, experiencing cutting-edge research facilities and international teaching environments. Additionally, they explored Nanyang culture, gaining insights into Singapore’s diverse society and innovative vitality. All students reported significant gains.
The group stated they would live up to the college’s expectations and repay the college and society through hard work and overcoming challenges.
