In August 2025, Ding Yewen, a teacher from the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of SDC, went to Angola to teach mechatronics at the Angola-China Institute of Engineering and Technology (ACIET).
Co-founded by five Chinese higher vocational colleges, including Wenzhou Vocational and Technical College and SDC. ACIET aims to deepen China-Angola educational cooperation and cultivate high-quality technical talents that meet local economic and social development needs. Unveiled in Huambo Province, Angola on January 13, 2025, ACIET has 76 students in its first mechatronics program, with teachers from the five co-founding colleges.
ACIET highly praised Ding Yewen’s teaching work. Looking ahead, SDC will send more outstanding teachers abroad to continue advancing vocational education internationalization and showcase the achievements of China’s vocational education.
